Overview of the course:

The concept of body language is very helpful in determining and detecting what is going on in the mind of a suspect or a criminal. This course sets out to help you in mastering the secrets of the of body language, the historical view of the body language, understanding the human brain through conscious and subconscious behaviours, the powers of the Subconscious, and limbic system legacy, and why liars cannot remember their lies, what is in a criminal mind, body language and its limitations, criminals and the use of opportunities.

The purpose of this course is then to be able to analyze what a criminal is thinking by employing the body language methods of assessing an individual.

It is, however, crucial to note that criminals display some forms of non-verbal cues during interrogation which helps to determine whether such an individual is guilty or not. The overall aim of this course in facilitating interrogation cannot then be overemphasized.

Learning Outcome

Methodology

This will be a two-day course, conducted formally and the following methodologies will be applied:

The course is carved to take place in a typical classroom setting. This is to ensure stimulation of knowledge and conducive learning condition. The lecturer will present the lesson to Learners while they follow suit. Learners will note down grey areas and ask questions after the delivery of the lecture.

The lecture process will also involve group interactions. The lecturer will ask questions and encourage participants’ involvement in the learning process. The group interactions will also open door for hybridization of knowledge.

Further, every seminar session would be practical-oriented so as to give room for the impartation of soft skills.
